Indigenous Student Ministry

In Santa Cruz, the rural indigenous populations are some of the least reached with the gospel and the most marginalized by Bolivian society. When some of the youth are able to finish high school and go to university in the big city, they leave their family, village, and culture behind.
In this role, you will have an opportunity to network with university students from a specific indigenous group, providing pastoral care and a context for group cohesion and community. You would mentor and disciple individual students in groups or one-on-one, network with a local church, and facilitate relationships among students, the congregation, and church leadership.
