Manya Literacy Coordinator

Do you have training in linguistics? Did you know that your skills are deeply valued in mission work?
Right now in Liberia an opportunity is available for you to reach the Manya people. They are desperate for literacy skills and this creates an open door for someone to set up a Manya Literacy Association to carry on the work of producing Manya language materials and promoting literacy using local funding and resources. In this role, you will develop literacy materials, as well as recruit, train, and mentor volunteer teachers. They, in turn, will establish adult literacy classes in the Manya towns and villages. They will coordinate with the Bible translation project to ensure that Scripture is accessible throughout.
