The Bible Correspondence School (BBCS) has been a major contributor to the growth of the gospel in south Asia and the spiritual development of its people. BBCS aims particularly to serve these rural populations who have limited access to the gospel and limited understanding of God’s word. Through the use of mailed Bible courses, barriers of distance, time and culture are crossed.
BBCS conducts 3 and 5 day training seminars in local areas, for around 300 students per year. Seminars provide students with the opportunity to deepen their Bible knowledge, receive theological training, and prepare them for ministry in house churches. Seminars enable students to clarify questions raised as they have studied the Bible themselves. They help students understand God’s will for their lives, training them to become teachers of the Bible themselves.
