Project Reach aims to reach the nations internationally, and to reach the increasing numbers from other nations who have come to the UK.

Six vital mission workers play a pivotal role in this gospel ministry of Serving In Mission UK. Our regional mobilisers work hand in hand with evangelical churches in the UK to help equip, train and support cross-cultural gospel workers.

Their role is to:

  • Meet with prospective mission workers and assess their suitability for ministry, guide them through the application process and help them to identify where God is calling them to serve, then find a ministry that will suit their gifts and abilities.

  • Provide pastoral care throughout the mission worker’s time of service.

  • Establish a relationship with sending churches.

  • Resource UK churches to reach out effectively in local, cross-cultural mission.

  • Represent Serving In Mission at Christian conferences and events.

Our mobilisers, based around the UK, have been part-funded by a generous legacy received in 2009 but this money is running out and we need urgent help to keep them in post. If you would like to support the work of these essential people, please click on the link below.

SIM UK would love to receive mission workers from other countries. These mission workers would work integrally with UK churches based in communities with a similar background to their own. This will give these churches an invaluable insight as to how best to minister cross- culturally.

In order to inform and empower and provide UK churches with training in cross-cultural mission, Serving in Mission has a vision to employ a Church Partnerships Coordinator who will help in providing UK churches with cross-cultural training.

Serving In Mission are looking to cover a shortfall of £50,000 per year to support these exciting ministries. We are confident that God will provide. Please pray with us as to whether you are being called to give to this vision.

Please pray:

  • For our mission mobilisers as they work alongside those who feel called to the mission field. Please pray for wisdom and discernment as they help individuals seek the best placement for them.

  • For UK churches with a heart to reach the multi-ethnic communities around them, pray that the Lord would give them vision to how best to minister cross-culturally and pray that Serving In Mission will partner well with them equipping them in this.

  • The funding and personnel to enable us to step forward with the vision for Project Reach.

  • Seek God’s will as to the part that he wants you to play in his plan to reach the nations in the UK or overseas.
