Sent by churches across the UK, ‘Andrew’ and his family are involved in a wide variety of ministries in West Africa.
Their focus is Bible translation, and they have spent many years translating God’s Word into one of the local language. The New Testament is now complete, and they are recording it onto micro-SD cards, to be shared via mobile phones and radios.
Another key focus is visiting local believers and encouraging them in the faith. There is persecution and difficulty in identifying as a Christian here, leading many to become secret believers.
Please pray:
- that more workers would be raised up to take the gospel to the peoples of West Africa;
- that the work to put the New Testament on to SD cards can be completed quickly and they would be distributed widely;
- for safety as they travel across parts of the country on difficult roads.
