SIM believes that sports ministry serves as a powerful tool for the church to build relationships with young people and share with them the hope of the gospel. Ben is working to enhance the training and equipping of 12,000+ Sports Friends coaches, who share the good news of Jesus with young people across the globe.
Ben and Sandeep, who works as a pharmacist manager in a private hospital in the UK. are sent by Holy Trinity Jesmond Church in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Please pray:
- that many young people would place their hope in the truth of the gospel and grow to become mature disciples of Jesus Christ;
- that trained coaches would find favour in their communities and be beacons of hope;
- for us as we raise support and for the Lord’s leading for all our future plans;
- for the new coaches roadmap which includes three levels of training for our coaches around the world;
- for all the online and in-person training around the world;
- for new resources and virtual training being produced and then used by our staff, co-ordinators and coaches.
