C and J, with their two children, are sent by a church in Northern Ireland to work among one of the largest unreached groups in South East Asia.
J is a healthcare professional and serves women and children through education around pregnancy and childbirth.
C works with a missional business that employs dozens of local young people and disciples them as they work together in the office, while helping to lay the foundations for the future work as this country is new to SIM.
Please pray:
- for the local people, that God would meet their deepest needs;
- for wisdom in sharing our faith progressively, as most people have never heard of God or Jesus;
- for all those who hear the gospel for the very first time through C & J to find the courage to follow Jesus against all deeply-rooted family traditions;
- for progress and grace with the study of the very difficult local language.
