Debbie and Julian are sent by Eden Baptist Church to serve in Madagascar.
Having served God in their callings as a local church pastor and additional-needs dentist in and around Cambridge in England for over 25 years, Debbie and Julian had always had a heart to support mission workers. Having made a short term mission visit to Mandritsara a few years ago, they felt very strongly impelled by the Holy Spirit to serve here long term.
Debbie is a dentist and is involved with local groups (an autism group, a women’s re-skilling group for after leaving prison/sex trade) and with the church and its regional church gatherings. Julian is giving much of his time to learning the Tsimihety language. He meets one-to-one with a number of local church leaders, is now preaching once a month in church, and often goes on trips to villages by foot, bike motorbike, 4×4 or helicopter for evangelism, teaching and church gatherings.
