Elie was born and raised in former Yugoslavia. Converted thanks to an English missionary in his country, he currently lives in France but has spent time in the UK studying theology and taking part in evangelical outreach. He also served in countries across Europe and the United States of America.
God has laid in his heart a love for a people of the Middle East. For several years, he has been planning a ministry among this people. God willing, he will soon go to this region to work in an evangelical school of which the majority of the students are Muslims. Here, Elie will teach English and the Bible, alongside seeking to be a blessing to the local church.

- for the people and for the pupils Elie will be in touch with: that God gives him love and wisdom;
- for the unity within the body of Christ and for his contacts with Christians from different denominations;
- that God will empower Elie with his Holy Spirit in every way, and that signs and miracles will take place;
- for faith, repentance and salvation of many people from all walks of life.
