Hilary and Marc Deneufchâtel (with Simon, Benjy and Eve) served in Benin from 2009 to 2020 where they were working in church development amongst the Monkolé people. Marc taught in the Monkolé churches, and Hilary coordinated the project translating the Bible into the local language. The Bible was printed and distributed in 2021.
Hilary is still working with SIM from their current home in France, putting her experience into practice as she trains to become a Bible translation consultant. She is now working with translation teams in Benin and Sudan.

- for Hilary as she accompanies teams, checking their translation and helping them to improve their translation skills;
- for those reading scripture for the first time in their mother tongue, pray that their eyes will be opened to the truth of the gospel.
