Hugh and Helen Sims-Williams, and their two children, have been sent by Christ Church Endcliffe, (Sheffield), to Kenya, where they share the love of Jesus through medical care. Hugh works as a neurosurgeon and Helen works part-time as a kidney specialist. Hugh also co-leads a programme, which trains junior doctors to become Christian neurosurgeons, as part of the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS).
Please pray:
- that they would communicate, through word and deed, the hope of eternal life that is available for everyone who trusts in Jesus;
- that Hugh and Helen would fit well into their teams and roles in the hospital, and establish a sustainable work pattern for their family life;
- that Hugh’s residents would grow in medical skills and in godly character, and that they will become compassionate servant leaders wherever God calls them to work after their training;
- that the whole family would learn to trust more and more in God’s faithfulness.
