Mark Gibson

Mark has been a member of SIM since 2000 where he served in West Africa for 15 years alongside his wife, Cheryl, and their three children. During this time, they worked with the Fulani people in church planting, and latterly Mark worked in theological education.  Since returning to the UK, Mark has continued to engage in Fulani ministry in West Africa, both in supporting the church leadership remotely, as well as making teaching trips a number of times a year.

Mark is also a valuable member of the SIM-UK’s mobilisation team, covering the North, parts of Central and the Wales region. He also spends time visiting University Christian Unions, engaging the next generation of mission workers.

Please pray:

  • for wisdom, as he continues to work with the church leadership in West Africa, and that his teaching trips would serve to equip those who are in training at the school he ministers;
  • that he would serve the mission workers well that he supports both during the application process, their assignments as well as on their return to the UK;
  • as he engages university students at the Christian Union world mission events, that God’s heart for the nations would be clearly presented and responded to.

Pray regularly for Mark Gibson
