Steve is our Mission Journey Coordinator for Ireland, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Steve supports mission workers, churches and supporter groups as they pray, give and take part in God’s mission around the world. His own mission journey began early: originally from Northern Ireland, Steve grew up as a missionary kid in Nepal and has since worked in cross-cultural settings in the UK, the Republic of Ireland and Burundi. Serving in Burundi with his wife gave him a deeper appreciation for how important good preparation, prayerful support and pastoral care can be for those in mission.
Outside of work, Steve’s main passion is pursuing God and a deeper relationship with Him. He also enjoys anything in the outdoors, especially camping, mountain biking and hill walking. Steve and his wife home educate their four children, and they love discipling their children in everyday life, through worship together, adventure trips and spending time together talking about Jesus!
