Day by Day prayers

Pray theology students will catch a vision for their involvement in cross-cultural mission even if they are then called primarily into a pastoral or Bible teaching ministry. Pray they’d be catalysts for cross-cultural mission wherever they serve.

Ruth has an opportunity to lead a teacher training seminar at the Evangelical Bible College of Malawi this month, to follow up from time spent at the college observing lessons. Pray the seminar will be well received and teaching put into practice.

Give thanks for a seminary in Nigeria, which offers both residential training and hybrid studies for students already in ministry who are not free to leave their ministry location for long periods of time. Pray students will be well equipped for the roles the Lord has for them.

Give thanks and pray for 20 Persian- speaking pastors as they study for their Mission Certificate at Quest Academy.

A teacher serving at an evangelical school writes: “Pray for boldness as I share how the whole Bible points to Jesus throughout the year in chapel at school. May the Holy Spirit give me the words and be at work in the students’ hearts.”

Give thanks to God for four individuals and two families joining us for a week of training and preparation for the mission field. Pray for a fruitful time of fellowship and learning. Pray too for God’s equipping for everyone leading sessions.

Donald and Becky, at Prédica Vida in Mexico, give thanks that 25 students graduated from their online Bible training this year and 19 students are currently taking a four-month intensive course in expository preaching. Give thanks for the way that the Lord has grown the team – both teachers and support staff/mentors.
