Day by Day prayers

Claire is seconded to TeachBeyond, training teachers with the Sparrow Project. Pray for wisdom as she takes on the role of Sparrow Project Africa Regional Director. Pray she’d be able to develop the African team and grow the teacher training ministry in under-resourced schools in Africa.

This evening in Bolivia, Night to Shine welcomes 91 children with disabilities and their parents/carers to an event where the gospel will be shared and an evangelism team will be on hand to chat with and pray for the parents. Pray each person attending would know their value in Christ.

Pray for a youth group in South Asia: “May they be built up week on week as they meet the Lord in his Word.”

Give thanks for the work of Talitha Cumi in Zimbabwe supporting girls and young women, providing funding for education to provide hope and a future. Pray the girls supported by the project would engage well with Bible studies this term and grow in Christ. Pray protection over, and provision for, young women finishing school and seeking work.

Pray for families serving in areas where there are no good international schooling options. Pray as they balance homeschool and ministry responsibilities. Pray for strong community and meaningful friendships for their children. Pray for wisdom for parents as they consider the best schooling options for their children in the future. 

Give thanks for Christian schools in the Middle East that are popular with families from the majority religion due to high level of ethics and care. Often Scripture and Bible stories are shared with the students. Pray that the gospel seeds planted in their lives will have a powerful effect.

Pray for good, long-term, deep friendships for our Third Culture Kids, regardless of the rootlessness and restlessness that can come with TCK life.
