Day by Day prayers

Give thanks for the establishment of a new radio station in West Africa in an area surrounded by jihadist activity. As Christian messages are broadcast, pray many would be transformed by what they hear.

Talitha Cumi in Zimbabwe helps women out of poverty by teaching them Godly business practise and giving them the opportunity to apply for a micro loan. This allows them to provide for their families and care for their community. Pray the Lord will continue to provide for these women.

Give thanks for the way that business provides the means for workers to have a credible role or status within a community that allows them to access countries hostile to Christians.

Give thanks with the Faithful Witness team in Thailand: “A group of seven new believers are meeting daily to read the Bible. May the Holy Spirit move in their hearts, drawing them into deeper intimacy with the Lord.”

The team serving at a coffee shop in South Asia give thanks for good relationships with their Hindu neighbours. Monsoon season is a more difficult time for them as less foreign tourists come to the city. Pray for the Lord’s provision.

Pray on for the team at the coffee shop. Many of them or their close family members are experiencing significant challenges. Pray the Lord’s protection over them as they strive to be salt and light to the people around them.
