HEAD OF FINANCE
We are looking for someone who wants to use their skills and experience in the world of finance / accountancy to support the work of sharing the good news of Jesus in over 75 countries around the world. This is a key role as part of our UK Leadership Team and with over 160 missionaries we need someone with accounting and management experience to help ensure our finances are well stewarded as we comply with best practice in charity finance.
If you have the vision to help the organisation with its business model and fundraising, along with the management skills to lead a finance team this might be an exciting role for you to support the work of cross-cultural mission. The leadership team are based in different locations around the UK so this role can be based anywhere in the UK as long as you’re willing to travel to Cambridge and elsewhere as needed.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Head of Finance ensures we steward well the resources we’ve been entrusted with as a mission through good business planning and investments alongside budgeting and monitoring. They also advise and act to keep the organisation, which is both a charity and a limited company, compliant with government legislation.
