Anti-Child trafficking ministry

Many young girls and sometimes boys from the mountain regions of Peru are sent by their parents to work in the cities with the hope of getting an education. Instead, they are often abused emotionally, physically, and sexually and never actually receive the education promised.

This ministry helps churches build communities up to prevent this type of in-country trafficking from occurring. This necessitates educating parents in the rural mountain regions concerning the reality of what occurs to these children who are sent to work in the cities and the even more difficult task of convincing them that their children are valuable and should not be subjected to this.

There are opportunities to work on this ministry through the "Send" pathway.
