Serve with the team from the Anchor Project to reach & disciple young people in Leipzig.
Leipzig is a vibrant, creative city, yet remains one of the most spiritually unreached areas in Europe, with a high percentage of people having little or no connection to church or Christian faith. This creates both a great spiritual need and a unique opportunity for mission, discipleship, and Gospel-centred presence among the younger generation.
Anchor is a youth–focused mission project operating under SIM Germany. Their vision is to reach and disciple young people, particularly those from migrant backgrounds – by building authentic relationships and using sport as a powerful tool for connection, trust, and Gospel witness. Through sport, mentoring, and intentional discipleship, they want to help young people discover their identity in Christ and grow as committed followers of Jesus in everyday life.
