Experience with group and one-on-one discipleship, and multiplying disciples who will make disciples; cross-cultural or work with diaspora peoples; experience in evangelism, preaching and church-based ministry, pastoral counselling, small group facilitation. Church planting experience would be a plus. It is important for discipleship work with this people group to have a clear understanding of Jesus’ incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection. Be open to further education concurrent with position responsibilities as mutually determined with SIM. For example, one or both members of the couple may want to consider continuing education through ACTS seminary or consider online continuing education options if it is agreed that this will lead to enhanced ministry effectiveness.

undergraduate degree, biblical studies or equivalent ministry experience.
