As a child, Stephanie spent four years in Cambodia where her parents served as missionaries. Growing up on the mission field, she has always been passionate about missions. When Stephanie was 15 she felt like God was saying He wanted her to serve on the mission field. After qualifying as a teacher and teaching in the UK for four years, she felt like it was the right time to serve with SIM in Thailand.
Stephanie has been serving with SIM since November 2020. She is the Third Culture Kid coordinator, which involves supporting missionary kids and their families practically, emotionally and spiritually. This includes things such as orientation when first arriving in Thailand, helping with educational needs, preparing kids for return to their passport countries and travelling to visit the missionary kids around Thailand.
Stephanie also works Hope for Life Thailand as an education and outreach worker, where she teaches life skills, such as dealing with emotions and keeping healthy, to children in Thai schools. Hope for Life works with churches and those from broken backgrounds (including people with HIV) to see people revitalised and living out the radical Grace of God.
She is also involved in a variety of different outreach events that help children and youth learn about God’s radical grace.
