I have been serving in Dundee, South Africa, since 2015. I work and live at Melusi Christian Community, whose motto is ‘Serving Christ, serving others’. We glorify the Father by living in community, living the teachings of Jesus and obeying his commandments to love one another and care for those in need and suffering.
We do this practically, by taking in homeless and destitute men; going on weekly outreaches to the surrounding townships; ministering to the children and youth around us, and providing jobs in our garden and food for families in need.

- For the homeless men we take care of to find more than a place to stay and hope for the future. Pray they will meet Jesus and their lives will be changed
- For the children and young people we meet during the week at our kids clubs and youth meetings. Many come from difficult backgrounds and have no hope. Pray Jesus will transform their lives and they will become a generation that is serving him
- For us as the Melusi team — that God’s joy will be our strength and that he will be our focus in all we do
