Church-planting

Do you have good ministry experience, a passion to reach new communities with the Good News and a background in evangelism?

Our vision is to help plant disciple-making churches in southeast Uruguay, working with local believers to train and equip new leaders. SIM Uruguay has forged strong links with the Biblical Seminary of Uruguay, the largest theological education institution in the country, to develop the vocational tracks and help prepare and train new Christian leaders. We provide high quality practical training (face-to-face and online) tailored to the students.

Uruguay is the most secular nation in South America, with over 37% declaring themselves as irreligious. There is religious freedom, but also widespread depression and Uruguay has the highest suicide rate in the Americas. Through mentoring, befriending and walking alongside young adults, SIM seek to share the hope and love of the gospel.
