Sports Friends is offering internships for those who want to develop skills, passion, and understanding in cross-cultural global mission. The Internship is an opportunity to learn, grow, develop and serve. Join our Sports Friends team in training and equipping leaders in the local church to reach out to young people with the gospel through sports. You’ll grow in your knowledge and experience of making disciples through sports as you serve alongside our Sports Friends workers, receiving training and mentoring throughout the placement. We also have a lot of ministry working with special needs communities, and there may be opportunities to serve that population as well.
Qualifications required
Experience in coaching soccer, volleyball or basketball and/or teaching would be helpful. Experience working with special needs populations would also be helpful. An interest in making disciples of young people and a willingness to learn is essential.
Duration
Up to 6 months
