The ELWA Hospital Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the highest-ranking leader of the Hospital team, reporting directly to the ELWA Hospital Board. The role requires knowledge of health services as well as organizational leadership. As a member of a Christian organization, the CEO is a committed disciple of Jesus Christ and should be an example of Christ-like leadership, treating all patients, staff, and stakeholders as people made in the image of God. The CEO will work through the senior leadership team, developing their leadership skills and holding them accountable for their areas of responsibility. The CEO will work toward the ends and objectives outlined by the Hospital Board and will support the Board with knowledge of local and global trends and thoughtful and prayerful strategic thinking.
Qualifications required
Has an M.D., MBBS, MHA, MPH, MPA, or MBA degree.
Experience required
Five years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare organization.
