At Bingham Academy, our social studies and geography classes are taught by qualified teachers and are designed to build knowledge and skills that will enable students to understand and analyze all areas of geography as well as prepare for further studies at university and beyond. We are currently looking for a Geography Teacher or History Teacher with an ability to teach Social Studies at Middle School level as well as High School geography.
Qualifications required
Bachelor's degree in related subject Teaching Licence, Qualification or Credential (Bingham can assist if needed) Able to teach more than 1 subject in the social students department
Experience required
Experience teaching the skills aspect of these courses, e.g. dissect and teach historiography Experience with Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level curriculum (desired, but negotiable) 2+ years teaching experience (desired, but negotiable)
