Using sports to cross barriers, build relationships and engage communities, SIM Thailand works closely with Sports Friends to equip the church, train Christian leaders, provide ongoing discipleship and support church ministry.
We need more leaders who can work closely with several church denominations to see sustainable national-led sports ministry programs developed. We also need sports coaches (primarily football and volleyball), physical trainers and sports camp coordinators.
Our approach lies on identifying and training coaches from the local Thai churches. These leaders will develop church-centred sports ministries to make disciples of Jesus Christ among youth and their families.
We can receive short-term teams in this church-centred sports ministry.
