There is food shortage in Zimbabwe; land reforms implemented in 2000 still have not produced food, with droughts worsening the situation. Imported food is available in shops but is expensive for the generally poor population. Unemployment is still at a staggering 80%, the majority of people surviving by informal activities, especially buying and selling. This scenario has left poor, unemployed and vulnerable people desperate for food. This project aims to give God’s love to the vulnerable by provision of food during the harshest periods, and empowering the poor with sustainable practises. Your contribution provides a family of 5kgs worth of food consisting of beans and carpenter fish.
